The Library Presents

On Sunday 7 October you can enjoy a dramatic and innovative production of Shakespeare’s Henry V at Littleport Leisure Centre. This fast-paced and dynamic show brings to life the legendary Siege of Harfleur and Battle of Agincourt.

The production has been created by professional national touring company Librarian Theatre and is both a perfect introduction to Shakespeare and an enjoyable adaptation for those more familiar with the play. The show is suitable for ages ten and over. Tickets are £7 (full price), £5 (students and senior citizens) and £4 (under 16, unwaged, registered disabled).

On Saturday 3 November at 2pm, Littleport library will host a fantastic two hour mosaic workshop led by Carolyn Ash. Learn mosaic techniques, have fun and create your own piece to take home. All materials are provided along with inspiration and advice.

The event is open to adults and children over 3 years of age. Tickets are £5 or £2.50 for concessions.

Another wonderful workshop will take place at Littleport library on Saturday 8 December at 2pm when you can join UK Champion Illustrator Si Mitchell for a fantastic two hour illustration workshop. Si creates funny and colourful artwork with loads of character. You’ll learn to create illustrations for your own series of crazy and fun characters and put them into a comical story. Si has produced work for the BBC, Channel 4 and the band Green Day. The session is suitable for ages seven and over. Tickets are £5 or £2.50 for concessions.
